Welcome to The Chubby Bird Cookies Bakery

 All of our products are processed and prepared by a home-based food production operation that is not subject to SC food safety regulations. We follow all SCDHEC Cottage Food Laws; DHEC #18-202-00269.  The Chubby Bird Cookies' products contain, and/or are made in a kitchen which also processes: wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts. We are unable to serve those with severe food allergies at this time.  The Client is responsible for pointing out to guests’ potential allergy hazards, and The Chubby Bird Cookies will communicate ability to accommodate restrictions.

Commonly used ingredients:

All-purpose flour

Granulated sugar

Powdered sugar

Meringue powder (contains eggs)

Butter

Salt

Cornstarch

Corn syrup

Vanilla extract

Pure almond extract

Coloring/dyes

 Custom Order Deposits, Payments & Taxes

-The date of the event is considered “booked” upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit equaling 50% of the total value of the custom order.

-The final payment is due 7 days prior to pick up/delivery date.

-If the Client fails to make payments, The Chubby Bird Cookies will cease work, the order will be cancelled, and no refund will be given.

-Clients are responsible for all taxes (included in cost of goods)

Liability

-The Chubby Bird Cookies is not responsible for bodily injury, property or consequential damage, which may result from products/services provided.

-The Chubby Bird Cookies is not responsible for any damage to the goods/services provided caused by anyone NOT employed by The Chubby Bird Cookies.

Class/Event Cancellations

-All ticket sales are final.

-Tickets are transferable to another student if the original purchaser is unable to attend class.

-Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice; The Chubby Bird Cookies will offer the ticket to attendees on the waitlist. If the ticket is re-sold, a refund will be processed to the canceler minus the credit card processing fees. If the ticket is not re-sold, no refund will be issued.

-Cancellations within less than 24 hours notice; no refund will be issued. 

-Effective 12/21/2024, take home kits will no longer be offered/an option for cancellations. By cancelling your class ticket, you are forfeiting all supplies purchased with the ticket.

-The Chubby Bird Cookies reserves the right to cancel this class due to illness or low enrollment in which case you will be offered a full refund.

Private Class/Event Cancellations

-All ticket sales are final.

-No refunds are issued for cancellations.

-Tickets are transferable to another student if the original purchaser is unable to attend class.

The Chubby Bird Cookies reserves the right to use all photographs, video, other content of the custom order for advertising purposes unless otherwise requested and agreed upon mutually.
